people2people are collaborating with the NSW Government who are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to work on an initial 6 week assignment located in Liverpool

This role requires you to call upon your experience and judgement to plan and accomplish tasks and goals.
- You will be compiling amounts owed to vendors, suppliers and other organisations
- Gathering purchase orders, charge slips, sales tickets and more
- Maintain payment and transaction records
- Process and verify applications for payment on overdue accounts, whilst compiling information from banks and financial institutions
- Keeping record of delinquent accounts, incomplete files and credit risks
ABOUT YOU
To be eligible for this role you must have:
- Strong experience in Accounts Payable or similar role
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures in the field
- Ability to think laterally
- Accuracy and attention to detail
