This is a new role that will suit a confident and ambitious Finance professional, that is inspired by the opportunity to play a key role in establishing the Commercial Business Partnering function.
They will be the lead Business partner for Sales, helping to drive improvements in commercial performance through recommendations to the Sales team.

Description
The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Leadership of the Commercial Finance function through establishing a vision and monitor progress towards key targets
- P&L ownership from Gross Sales down to Standard Variable Contribution/Margin
- Build key relationships with the Sales team and certain customers
- Sharing best practice reporting and knowledge with other Commercial Finance Business Partners across the business sites
- Establish best practice across Commercial processes in Sales
- Attend regular sales meetings to share knowledge and insight, and to discuss best practice and processes
- Prepare and review weekly & monthly sales and profitability performance
- Identify key drivers of performance, including insightful commentary
- Ensure sales reporting is robust & accurate, and reflects the true commercial performance
- Management and development of open book models with strategic customers
- Product Costings & BOM's with operational finance, agree pricing with the sales team and revue the standard cost components
- Forecasting, Budgeting and Pricing
- Month end duties (working to Month End timetable, as managed by Finance Manager)
Profile
The successful candidate will:- CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified
- Newly qualified within Industry or Practice qualified with 1-2 years PQE
- Previous experience within a Finance Business Partnering role
- Strong IT skills, including excel (incl. financial modelling)
