The Manager will be responsible for developing, managing and delivering first line control of risk types relevant to Treasury.
Skills required:
- Broad competence across the range of Prudential Regulation and Balance Sheet Risks including Liquidity, Capital, Interest Rate, Currency and Funding risks
- Good knowledge of the financial services market and a strong knowledge, experience and understanding of typical UK bank products, such as fixed rate mortgage and current accounts
- Awareness of the strategies typical employed by UK banks to manage interest rate and liquidity risk
- A strong ability to build good networks and relationships with internal and external parties
- Ability to constructively challenge Senior Management
Ideally candidates will also have a strong understanding of the legal and regulatory framework for UK banks as well as previous experience of managing risk within a treasury environment.
