Financial Director - SME

Our client is a specialist SME organisation with a global customer base extending from the west coast of North America, across Europe, to the Far East of Asia – they’re at the forefront of innovation within their field and now have an interesting opportunity for a Financial Director to join the organisation initially on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The Financial Director will report into the CEO and be responsible for a small finance team of four; the main purpose of the role will be to ensure the organisation financial activities are adhered to in line with the company obligations. It’s also imperative that the Financial Director participates in the overall strategy for the business alongside the senior management team.

Duties will include:

* Working closely with the CEO providing advice in matters relating to commercial, financial and tax
* Provide the senior management team with all necessary budget and forecast information required to enable sound decision making
* Control and manage the company cash resources to ensure maximum return on investments with minimal cost
* Regular review of overhead costs and charge rates this will include ad-hoc exercises including forecasts, budgets and five year plans
