Due to continued success through innovative product lines and
manufacturing processes, we are excited to be recruiting on behalf of
our client - a large manufacturer, for the position of an Accounts
Assistant.
As an Accounts Assistant, you will work alongside the Accounts manager
as well as supporting the accounts and customer service team.
Our client is offering this role on a full time permanent contract
with full training and a fantastic progression programme for the right
person who is wanting to develop themselves.
We are looking for somebody who ideally has over 2 years accounts
assistant & administration experience
Working times:
08:30-17:00 (Mon-Fri)
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Processing invoices/paper work
* Maintaining & posting purchase ledger
* Reconciling finance accounts and direct debits.
* Posting monthly journals
* Working on cash books
* E/C sales
* Controlling credit and chasing debt.
* Payroll
* Prepayments
* Accruals
Qualifications and Skills:
* AAT Qualification is preferred but not essential
* Microsoft Office Excel skills and understanding of formulas
* Working with currency
* Exposure to management accounts
