Finance Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join our busy Finance team within our Central London office. Working on purchase ledger, nominal ledger and all round general accounting for a top 20 Accountancy Practice. As the largest and fastest growing region of the business we are looking for skilled, entrepreneurial individuals to join us in achieving our goal of being the number one advisor to owner managed businesses.

Description

The Finance Assistant's duties will be:

• Managing all Purchase ledger

• Inputting of invoices

• Statement reconciliations

• Supplier queries

• Cheque runs

• Scanning and filing

• Nominal ledger payments

• Bank reconciliations

• Petty cash

• Data entry

• Ad hoc reporting for partners, client banking and finance services

Profile

Experience

• Strong IT skills, with a good working knowledge of Excel

• Good business acumen

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

• Ability to spot and resolve problems quickly and efficiently

• Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to multi-task

The Finance Assistant will have the below skills:

• Previous experience of working in a Finance and/or Purchase Ledger Team

• Previous experience of using QuickBooks and/or Sage Line 50
