Our client is a leading cosmetics brand located in London's West End, a short walk from Oxford Circus. As a result of a number of new store openings and expansion, an opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join their accountancy team.

Description

Located in London's West End, our client is looking for an Accounts Assistant with responsibility for the following duties;

Scanning supplier invoices in to invoice payment system
Reconciling supplier statements
Request key supplier statements
Matching/reconciling supplier accounts
Coding supplier invoices in invoice system
Chase invoice authorisations in the business
Process employee expenses - every 2 weeks
Post credit card statements into accounting system
Post bank transactions into accounting system
Prepare bank reconciliations for all accounts
Prepare fixed asset register
Post monthly depreciation
Update store stock count file
Post UK & US Wholesale revenue
Run Wholesale P&L and agree to the target sheet
Sales deduction accruals
Revenue allocation journal per customer for Wholesale
Wholesale prepayments
Wholesale margin review
Review Wholesale P&Ls
Accrue settlement discounts & customer returns
Intrastat

Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

Prior experience working in an Accounts Assistant/Accounts Payable role - it would ideally suit someone with c.2 years experience looking to step into their 2nd finance role

ACCA/CIMA studier

Job Offer

Salary of £25,000-£27,000
