The Head of Business Planning role reports into Director of Corporate Finance and has responsibility for the groups long term financial plan. You provide support for the development of the Groups strategy through financial analysis of major projects throughout the group.

The Head of Business Planning is involved in how the organisation undertakes these new ventures. The organisation is committed to providing social support to its residents and is focused on providing affordable housing to people within London and the South East.
Description
The Head of Business Planning is responsible for covering business planning, investment appraisals and working alongside the treasury department. The role also works with multiple members of the senior management team in review and advising on major projects departments might undertake. The role is also responsible for the following areas:
- Identify potential risks within the business and recommend actions to protect the long-term financial viability of the Group.
- Take ownership of the long-term business plan (financial model) that includes analysis of cash flow, balance sheet and I&E account for each company in the Group.
- Provide analysis on the long term effect of proposed acquisitions/investments and developments.
- Help shape and present the groups strategy.
- Produce reports and commentaries to accurately reflect the impact of development opportunities on the long-term financial plan.
- Management of staff.
Profile
The Head of Business Planning requires a qualified accountant for the role and you will need the following experience:
- Direct experience of using various investment appraisal techniques
- Proven experience of performing financial responsibilities
- Experience in analysing financial data and other information
- Good communication skills with all levels of internal and external customer
- Advanced spreadsheet skills
Job Offer
£60,000-£70,000 (Negotiable) + Excellent benefits, flexible working hours, working from home etc.
