We're working with these guys to hire a top tier qualified ACA to join their growing, UK headquartered finance function in the capacity of Financial Accountant. Reporting into a hugely impressive, practice-trained Financial Controller, you will be responsible for owing the consolidated financial reporting for the business, continually looking to make improvements and maximise efficiencies where possible.
You'll be great for this role if you're excited by the opportunity to work for a market leading technology business, in a challenging yet rewarding role with a social and entrepreneurial work setting.
Key responsibilities:
• Preparation of consolidated financial statements under FRS102 & IFRS accounting standards
• Point of contact for external auditors
• Preparation of tax work, including corporation and tax returns
• Testing and review of all internal controls, updating and improving where necessary
• Continual interaction with regional finance teams on preparation of audit packs
Profile:
• Qualified accountant from practice (newly qualified making your first move or already in industry seeking your second move)
• Strong technical accounting background, with commercial outlook to business context
• Up to date knowledge of IFRS
• Self-motivated, pro-active, deadline and results driven
• Keen to join a growing business with an opportunity to effectively create and design your own role!
