Interim Head of FP&A

The Interim Head of FP&A position is a key senior position within the senior leadership. Based in the Sheffield area, this stand-alone position takes responsibility for managing the commercials and stakeholder relationships for each of the contracts the business holds.

My client, based in the Sheffield area, is a manufacturing business who are part of a large international group. They are looking for an Interim Head of FP&A to join them for a period of 15 months to cover a maternity leave from the end of September.

Description

The Interim Head of FP&A position, based in the Sheffield area, takes responsibility for key stakeholder relationships across the group and across the multiple contracts the business holds. In brief, it also takes responsibility for:

• Ownership of budgeting and forecasting process including being instrumental in the construction of the 5 year forecast
• Setting commercial KPI's around operational contract performance
• Business Partner with the MD, Contract Managers and the end user

The role reports directly to the MD and requires someone with strong ability to challenge and effect change in an operational environment and approach the challenge in the right way.

Profile

• Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or someone QBE with a wealth of experience in similar commercial roles within a manufacturing environment
• Clear ability to challenge in an operational environment
• A process-minded and rational approach to finance is a key character trait for the person embarking on this role
• Must be able to commit fully to a 15 months contract to start late September/early October

Job Offer

Up to £350-£400 per day, experience dependant

15 months contract (can go through your own Ltd Co if preferred)
