As a Group Internal Reporting Analyst, the primary focus of the role is the responsibility for production of key internal reports, producing accurate information on a timely basis. Managing relationships with site based finance teams and providing support to the Group Internal Reporting manager will be essential.

Description
As a Group Internal Reporting Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include:
Weekly group reporting
- Owns production of Weekly Group Reporting to deliver all weekly reporting.
- Development of the weekly group reporting templates and consolidation models from time to time.
- Maintain and update historic weekly data.
- Maintain records of all weekly reporting as published.
Capital reporting
- Own production of the Monthly capital reports.
- Development of the capital reporting KPIs, templates and consolidation models as required.
- Ensure all monthly capex returns are received and produce consolidations.
- Review capex submissions.
- Maintain records of all Monthly capital reporting.
Capex Budget tracking
- Ownership of the Capex Budget tracking process, including the design of the DAF forms, Budget control forms, templates and guidance notes.
- Ensure that budget control forms are submitted monthly detailing any over/underspends.
- Ensure that any capex overspends/underspends are reconciled and monitored monthly and are matched at an overall group level.
Monthly Group Reporting
- Assist in the production of management accounts and other monthly group reporting processes.
- Ensure all monthly management accounts submissions are loaded and produce consolidations.
- Ensure that all inter-company transactions, balances and asset transfers eliminate on consolidations.
- Maintain quality and timeliness scoring for sites based on monthly reporting submissions.
- Manage the relationship with the relevant site based finance staff with responsibility for monthly group reporting submissions.
- Along with other members of the group finance team, review site submissions, issue queries to sites and provide follow up and support.
Quarterly Share Based Payments
- Maintain, update and development of the quarterly share based payments model.
- Ensure the model is updated with information quarterly on a timely basis, follow up on queries with HR.
- Maintain the relevant relationships with members of HR.
Annual strategic Plan, Capital Planning, Budgets and Forecasts
- Assist in the annual Strategic Plan, Capital Planning, Budget and Forecast processes.
- Assist in the development of templates as required.
- Run consolidations and ensure all sites have submitted.
- Ensure all inter-company transactions, balances and asset transfers eliminate on consolidation.
- Along with other members of the group Financial Reporting Planning and Analysis (FRPA) team, review site submissions, issue queries to sites and provide follow up and support.
Group Finance Reporting Planning and Analysis team Support
- Support the Group Internal reporting manager and other FRPA team members with the performance of their duties as required.
- Support the Group Reporting systems accountant in developing and maintaining the HFM consolidation system.
- Develop HFM knowledge in order to be able to provide support and cover as required.
- Undertake drafting and updating of the relevant sections in the Group Finance manual.
- Promote team work within the group reporting team and wider group finance team in busy times to cover absences or as and when required.
Other Ad Hoc tasks
- Provide support for Carbon based and other green reporting as directed by the Group Head of Sustainability.
- Ad Hoc data requests.
- Maintenance of finance contacts lists.
