Our client requires an experienced Temp Purchase ledger clerk to come and hit the ground running for an initial interim period with the potential of progressing into a more varied finance position and permanent role, intitally the role is too aid on a backlog of invoices based out of their Luton office site

Our client is a reputable travel and tourism company who are known and appreciated across Europe and Asia. This opportunity is available on an temporary basis as my client are experiencing a high volume of work invoices due to a growth in revenue streams.

Description

The successful Temp Purchase ledger clerk will have the following responsibilities:

  • Managing Invoicing queries through to resolution
  • Processing a range of invoices in terms of values and volume
  • Supplier management and statements
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Coding and Scanning of Credit Notes
  • Handling Petty Cash
  • Profile

    The successful Temp Purchase ledger clerk will have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in a purchase ledger focused position ideally in a high volume query of invoice processing area
  • Good Excel skills - able to work with large sets of data - vlookups and pivot tables
  • High degree of data accuracy
  • Organised approach
  • Happy in a busy environment with high work volumes - invoices in the thousands
  • Sensible and Logical approach
  • Able to work unsupervised
  • Based locally to Luton
