Main responsibility:

  • Monitor day to day operations to ensure business process, and also control the performance of daily tasks
  • Develop and enforce sound policies and structures of the Bank
  • Responsible and supervise the human resources to create a strong workforce by developing competent individuals in the banking operations team
  • Oversee the processing of loans, trade finance and other banking activities to ensure due process, accuracy and accountability are followed
  • Responsible for accounting, administrative and compliance following the prevailing regulation from Regulator
  • Ensure client data is protected from the public and secured against fraud by enforcing access rights and verification levels
  • Maintaining financial back up plans (Business Continuity Management) to protect business operations in the event of major crises that could result in huge losses
  • Report to General Manager and coordinate with business department to create best practices for successful banking operations
  • Delegate tasks to members of the operations team.

To succeed on the job, the bank operations manager must have the following requirement:

  • A degree in banking or other related field, at least having 10 years banking experience including 5 years managing operation activities.
  • Good sense of responsibility
  • Trade finance certified is preferable (CDCS/CITF/CSGD)
  • Good leadership and communication skills
  • Proficient in Indonesia/Malay language as most communication related to Head Office.
  • Independent and able to do multitask to meet multiple timelines.
  • Good judgment to make financial decisions.
  • Charismatic and enthusiastic personality.
