A fantastic marine organisation is recruiting for a Management Accountant based within their head office in Southampton. This role offers fantastic benefits and a competitive salary.
This business was founded over 25 years ago, they operate in a number of different sectors and are looking to expand their business in the coming year.
As a Management Accountant you will report directly into the Financial Controller, duties include:
• Preparation and production of monthly management accounts and annual budgets
• Managing the month end process, providing precise and timely journals
• Ensuring both sides of the ledger are recorded and up to date
• Continuously looking at improving and developing processes within the business
• Providing information and liaising with Auditors
The successful applicant will have the following attributes:
• ACA, CIMA, CIMA qualified or qualified by experience
• Knowledge and interest in Tax and VAT desirable
• An advanced user of Microsoft Office, accounting software and reporting tools
• A proven record within the following Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant, Finance Manager, Finance Controller, Assistant Accountant
