An exciting opportunity to join a market leading international business based in Wiltshire. They are currently looking for a strong technical Finance Manager to lead a small team in the preparation of the management and financial reporting as well as acting as a key point of contact for non finance.

This is a high performing team and would ideally suit a first or second time mover.

Description

The International Finance Team are responsible for the accuracy and integrity of EMEA accounting and reporting. Reporting into the EMEA Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will provide accurate financial performance information and business partnering to key contacts outside of Finance.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the monthly financials in line with local statutory requirements and US GAAP;
  • Providing finance business partnering to European sales directors, head of marketing and head of IT. This includes adhoc financial support as well as monthly reviews of performance;

  • Coordinate monthly load of UK financial results into the corporate consolidation tool, HFM, being a key contact for the US financial accounting Team;
  • Supervise and review European results into the corporate consolidation tool;
  • Supporting EMEA Financial Controller as required;
  • Preparation of the statutory accounts;

  • UK primary contact for both internal and external audits for both financial and Sarbanes-Oxley audits;

  • Supporting other international controllers and International Finance Director as needed;

  • Leadership and development of supporting team.

Profile

The successful candidate will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with recent or current experience in practice or a complex commercial environment.

  • Exceptional attention to detail with ability to critically review work of others and their own;
  • Able to build and maintain long term collaborative relationships at all levels both internally and externally
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to effectively communicate in a concise and engaging manner
  • Reliable team-player; flexible and willing to support in other areas when required
  • Demonstrable experience of multi-tasking in a fast paced environment
