Cost Accountant

This newly created role will support the finance manager and oversee all aspects of inventory and royalty accounting

Description

• work with Manufacturing & Supply Chain
• Provide monthly inventory reports, highlighting areas of risk or opportunities for improvement inventory management
• Create margin analysis reports by product line
• Manage royalties, including working with Product Management and Legal to set and revise royalty rates, set up royalties, and process payments by contracted deadlines
• Support the annual budgeting cycle with forecast margin
• Special projects and other ad hoc analysis as assigned
• Manage inventory levels, counts, changes, corrections etc

Profile

• Fully Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA with at least 2-3 years' experience in industry or equivalent
• Must have experience within manufacturing business
• Knowledge of stock control
• Excellent excel skills and attention to detail
• Have a strong commercial mind with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy

• Have the ability to provide depth and understanding to the financials

• Be confident in liaising/interacting with senior stakeholders

• Have a hands-on approach
