Vice President, Finance

Reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer, the Vice President Finance will be responsible for efficiently and effectively planning, administering, coordinating and reviewing the functions of the Finance division in a professional manner in keeping with the company’s objectives, goals and policies. To make sound recommendations and decisions for the division that will facilitate continuous improvement and the achievement of objectives, goals and targets

• Overall responsibility for developing and implementing efficient operating systems and procedures to ensure effective co-ordination and proper functioning of the Finance division.                   
• Organising, administering and monitoring the functions performed in the division including Corporate Accounting, Financial Planning & Expense Control, Investment Accounting & Treasury Management, Regulatory and Compliance functions to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness. 
• Developing and ensuring the implementation of effective accounting systems, standards and policies for the company.   
• Ensuring the timely development and preparation of the Company's budget and accurate and timely reporting of the Company’s performance and the conducting of audits.
• Participating in the Company’s strategic planning and decision-making process as a member of the Executive body.
