SITE ACCOUNT MANAGER
LUTON (UNTIL JULY 2020 - RELOCATING TO FARNBOROUGH)
PERMANENT
Our client is a leading manufacturer of private jets. They also provide servicing and maintenance services which is what their UK operation entails. As a company originating from the US, they are a company that have continued to expand and specialise. A focus on innovation and a commitment to customer service are reflected in a history of industry firsts, record-setting aircraft, technological innovation, global service and support initiatives, and an expanding worldwide customer base.
The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in Accounting or Finance, will also have a proffessional qualification in ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or have an equivanlent qualification and relavant exprience. 8 years of progressive experience is also essential.
Key responsibilities
Managing accounting proceedures and performances as it relates to Treasury, Payroll, Accounts payable and Accounts receivable. Resolves Internal and External issues ( VAT, payroll, vendor etc)
Analyse and maintain accurate general ledger and sub-ledger details
Maintain treasury operations to include daily cash administration, management of current accounts and bank relations
External and internal audits
Continuous process improvement, both in support of operations and with financial processes.
Preparation of VAT returns, review of C79 requirements as it relates to customs and deferment
Salary proposal - Competitive + MIP payment
Company benefits – Life Assurance, 25 days per year holiday, annual bonus, personal health being introduced in 2019.
Full Time post at Luton until we move to Farnborough in July 2020– so it would be preferable to recruit from that area. The person would be required to work at Luton in the mean while and mileage would be reimbursed.
