Interim Finance Manager

I am working with a client on an exclusive basis for a Senior Finance Manager for an organisation in North Nottinghamshire on an interim basis for 3-6 months.

Joining the company, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of financial accountants on site. You will actively involve yourself as part of the senior management team to manage reporting processes that will challenge performance and drive action. The role will involve reviewing current control systems and managing the month end balance sheet process. If you have a great understanding of working capital, your role will involve understanding cash performance and forecast short-term cash requirements. If you feel like you have great communication skills, this role need someone like you to liaise with non-financial departments including cost centre managers and budget holders to speak about their forecast proposals. You will also communicate with internal and external audit and tax departments. You will manage the strong team currently working hard to agreed deadlines. They need someone who will motivate and lead the team to continue the great work they do already.

The role is varied and it is working for a well recognised company that is leading the way. It is very much about the people that work in the organisation and they certainly recognise hard work and determination.

You will ideally be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA) and ideally have worked in practice - a desirable being within a Top 10 Practice.

The day rate for this role is £250-300 per day depending on your experience. The role is most likely going to proceed into 2019.
