You will become a member of the wider Finance team at Apple. With over 300 employees from a multitude of backgrounds, the Finance department in Cork supports all functions of Apple in EMEIA, including Sales Fulfillment, Logistics, Manufacturing and Operations, Apple Music, Apple Retail as well as being part of the Global Finance Shared Service (GFSS) function. Key Qualifications: •Requires strong problem solving and analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to develop solutions according to changing business needs •Able to work on multiple projects that are global in nature and complex logic •Demonstrate experience driving operational improvement •Ability to work independently and drive project initiatives •Effectively lead cross functional or cross region projects •Capacity to connect and effectively engage with the relevant teams to achieve the desired results •Project management experience is a plus •Understanding of the project lifecycle including gathering and documenting requirements, performing UAT, rolling out the project to the process area, and supporting warranty efforts •Knowledgeable of Payroll and/or HR standard methodologies for Americas, EMEIA, or APAC regions •Strong working knowledge of the various aspects of Compensation Services, including Payroll Operations, Compliance, and Accounting; experience with various HR and Payroll systems, such as SAP HR and ADP, is preferred Description: - Support Apple's Global Compensation Services team in gathering and documenting business requirements, identifying possible solutions, testing of systems functionality, and managing implementation and process change - Working closely with external vendors and various internal organizations, including HR, Benefits, Compensation and IS&T in projects requiring the development of automated/systematic solutions involving confidential data - Creating As Is and To Be Process documentation - Coordinating issue resolution for payroll and HR systems - Ensuring the accuracy, security, and privacy of confidential information in a SOX- and GDPR-compliant environment - Guiding the development of application and process test plans, working closely with the QA team for issue escalations, and developing cutover plans - Creating data conversion plans and coordinating the execution of data conversions - Identifying process change impacts and providing inputs to change management plans Education: - Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
