Our client is a successful and well-established company based in Bromsgrove. Due to their continued success, we are looking for an exciting, confident, positive and pro-active Accounts Assistant to join the experienced and dedicated team.

This is a Full Time, Permanent opportunity, with the salary from £18,000 to £19,500 depending on experience.

Duties will include:

• Responsible for maintenance of purchase and sales ledger

• Processing invoices, making payments and sending remittances

• To ensure supplier statement reconciliations are carried out

• Raising delivery notes and invoices

• Allocating cash receipts in multi-currency bank accounts and credit control

• Reconciling credit card statement, petty cash and preparing journals for posting

• Completing the month-end account close down and assisting the Finance Manager with preparation of the monthly management accounts

Skills and Experience needed:

• Previous strong experience in a similar accounts role

• Ability to use Sage 50 is essential

• Proven ability to work as a team

• Excellent communication / interpersonal skills
