Management Accountant post in a business that will offer great flexibility and variation

Part Time (Min 25 hours per week) and Full Time will happily be considered.

Client Details

The business is a UK subsidiary of an international company, you will have responsibility for producing the Management Accounts and all associated reporting as well, before then passing your completed work on to the FC.

This company is moving into new, open plan offices set in a exquisite countryside location, due to being based part way between Kidlington and Bicester, your own transport is going to be essential.

Description

 Preparing monthly accounts to enable production of P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow, sales, margin and overheads analysis.

 Making comparisons of actuals vs budget vs prior year.

 Reconciling Balance Sheet for each period end.

 Supporting external year-end audit.

 Monthly reporting of aged debtors, creditors and stock.

 Posting prepayments, accruals, stock provisions and any other posting adjustments in SAP.

 Managing Company's fixed asset register.

 Reviewing company's overheads.

 Ad-hoc financial reports and analysis requested by senior staff.

 Managing bank accounts and reconciling bank statements on weekly basis.

 Reconciling intercompany account.

 Ensure VAT correctly posted in SAP and is correctly reported and re-claimed in line with HMRC guidelines

Profile

The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to their work and can be from a range of different backgrounds. ACCA/CIMA study support is an option, however candidates with experience and no professional qualifications are also encouraged to apply.

The key areas that the team are looking for is an ability to work in a varied environment and produce a set of management accounts with relative autonomy. Due to this being a small team, an ability to pick processes & procedures up quickly is essential.
