Financial Controls Analyst

As the Financial controls analyst, you will be supporting the Senior Finance Manager in developing, maintaining and enhancing core commercial processes to bring a more effective and efficient financial internal controls throughout the business.

Description

The Financial Controls analyst will be a fundamental new position within the commercial structure, supporting key business areas and senior stakeholders across this international organisation. You will be driving an effective and efficient financial internal control throughout the company, being part of a newly created team you will facilitate change management resulting from strategic initiatives to simplify process. A primary focus will based on SOX control documentation and testing with a goal of increasing effectiveness and efficiency's within the business. You will also be resolving and reporting audit exceptions. Following up on the implementation of management action plans to address any identified control gaps.

Profile

For this Financial Controls Analyst position we are looking for a highly skilled analyst who has a background with working in a professional accountancy firm (Top 20) this is not a pre-requisite but will be advantageous.

ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified

Experience in Audit

Able to influence people in the wider organisation

Able to communicate at different levels

Passionate about Change and delivering against tough targets and time lines
