Assistant Financial Accountant - Dublin North

ABOUT THE ROLE: Reporting directly to the General Manager and working alongside the Senior Financial Accountant, this role will suit a highly driven and focused Part Qualified Accountant who is looking to get broad exposure in a growing industry. Main duties include: Preparing month end reconciliations for client and company accounts; Logging purchase invoices and undertaking creditor reconciliations; Liaising with clients regarding outstanding payments; Posting journal entries (i.e. accruals and prepayments, etc.); Assisting the Senior Financial Accountant in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual accounts; Assisting with budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, etc.; Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register for both client and company accounts; Assisting in the annual audit, and; Ad hoc projects as they arise. Working directly with the Senior Financial Accountant, this position will suit someone who is looking for a hands-on accounting role, where they can learn and grow." - General Manager ABOUT THE PERSON: Must be at the early stages of a professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA); 1 years' minimum experience in an office environment; Strong Excel skills and experience with Origins advantageous; Must be a proves self-starter, and; A strong appetite to learn and grow.
