This is a great opportunity for a technically strong self-starter to have a huge impact on a growing business and develop into a leader within the business. The flat structure will allow you to cultivate your own ideas, using your analytical strengths and exploring machine learning and different data sources to optimise Pricing initiatives across a leading retail lending product.

THE COMPANY

An established London fin-tech who lead their niche are seeking an experienced Pricing Analyst to manage and develop Pricing Analysis, Insights and Strategies. You'll be working hand in hand with the Senior Manager in a small team and have weekly interaction with the CFO, championing your own insights and ideas and presenting them to the leadership team. Technical skills are equally important though as this is a tech-progressive fin-tech so you'll need strong coding skills and a highly numerate background with at least an interest or grounding in machine learning and open source tech (R, Python) and how it can be used to leverage strategy optimisation and / or portfolio performance.

THE ROLE:

• Develop data-driven Pricing strategies and Pricing models
• Increase automation within the Pricing function through data analytics and implementation of new technology
• Support the development and growth of a small team of analysts (currently 2, growth plans for 4 over 12 months)
• Manage stakeholder relationships with executive committee with regular meetings with CFO
• Contribute to wider business decisions

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Numerate degree from an accredit university
• Experience developing pricing or credit risk models and strategies in a banking, payments, insurance, travel or retail environment
• Proficient in SQL, R, Python, SQS or similar
• Outgoing personality with strong communication, stakeholder and people management skills
