This new fashion venture is being headed up by a global icon in the fashion and modelling world and recently backed by some very successful venture capital partners.
The role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role will be their first hire in to the finance function and as such will play a pivotal part in the growth of this young, ambitious company. Some of the duties will include:
- Daily updating of bank transactions
- Matching bank transactions to daily taking reports
- Monitor, preparing and forecasting of company daily cash flow
- Creditor payment runs
- Preparation of the management accounts for review
- Prepayments, accruals and deferred income
- End of month procedures - stock adjustments, service charge adjustments
- Maintenance of the fixed assets register and monitoring CAPEX spends
- Management analysis on all variable costs to the business
- Assisting in the preparation of the Statutory accounts and audit pack
- Accounts receivable and Accounts payable function
Your profile
To be considered for this role you should meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in financial reporting within an SME environment
- Ideally a studying accountant and working towards full ACCA/CIMA qualification
- A self-starter
- A meticulous attention to detail
- A strong communicator
- Strong Excel skills
Package
- £30-37,000 base salary (DOE)
