Group Accountant

The role of the Group accountant is to strengthen the group reporting and compliance function and to report a board range of financial information to the board.

Client Details

My client operates in multiple countries throughout the world an this role is integral in consolidating the group accounts. The company is a well known in its field, they have grown significantly and expect this to continue. The parent company is based overseas and they have tight reporting deadlines

Description

- Consolidation of monthly management accounts

- To carry out group performance analysis

- To prepare the monthly group management accounts

- To ensure group compliance with IFRS

- Statutory accounts preparation for trading companies

- Liaise with auditors and assist with year-end

- Produce the consolidation of the annual budget and cash-flow forecasting

- Strong excel and systems are highly advantageous

Profile

• Newly qualified accountant ACCA/ ACA
  
• Strong Technical accountant
• with a strong and up to date grasp of IFRS
• Good understanding of group accounting and consolidations
• Be willing to undertake limited overseas travel
• German speaker
