A new position for a part-qualified ACCA Financial Accountant to work for an internationally expanding business based in Godalming. You will be reporting to the Finance Manager with all statutory and management accounts.

A new position for a part-qualified ACCA Financial Accountant to work for an internationally expanding business based in Godalming. You will be reporting to the Finance Manager with all statutory and management accounts.

Description

• Monthly accounts and financial statements (knowledge of IFRS)

• Financial statements - including group

• Multiple currency

• Job costing

• Departmental monthly reporting

• Monthly commentary for department heads and board of directors

• Group reporting requirements and transactions

• Bi-Monthly Cash Flows analysis

• Monthly KPIs and financial analysis of the financial results

• Reporting on and managing accounts payable (bi-monthly) and accounts receivable (daily)

• Managing all group reporting requirements

• Liaise with company secretary

• Work with company secretary to prepare annual accounts.

• Payroll prep and net payment - including overtime, toil and any other additions

• Calculation of and Submission of VAT to HMRC as well as other HMRC filing requirements

• Maintaining accuracy of project profitability for Service, Projects and Design departments

• Assist with the yearly budget process

• Assist with other ad-hoc financial projects and analysis

• VAT payments

Profile

Experience in a similar role

Part-qualified or ACCA finalist

Knowledge of Sage 50

Excellent excel skills (inc pivot tables)
