Alexander Daniels is working an established and successful services organisation based in Warwick.
The role as Payroll Manager, will be reporting to the HR Operations Manager and your duties will include:
* End to End management of all payrolls across two systems - SAP/Pegasus
* Producing month end reports and statistics.
* Undertake the day to day maintenance of the payroll system.
* BACS processing of Payrolls via Albany E-pay and Barclays Cash Management
* Submission of all RTI files to HMRC.
* Assist the HR Operations Manager in year-end duties including payroll year end, P11d, PAYE Settlement agreement.
* Creating ad hoc payroll reports for review by the Senior Management Team and Board Members.
* Payroll journals
* Ensure the completion of all month-end tasks including the production of scheduled reports, payment and reconciliation of third party deductions etc.
* Balance Sheet reconciliations.
* Act as the main point of contact for all benefit queries and respond to all queries within the agreed timeframe.
* Benefits administration, including vendor liaison and renewal administration to include Life assurance, PMI, Critical Illness, Childcare Vouchers. Flexi Benefits
What you'll need to succeed
* Be a confident communicator and be able to communicate effectively to stakeholders across the business at all levels.
* Ability to work collaboratively with the team.
* Ability to review current processes and improve upon processes to ensure and enhance efficiencies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Passion for payroll, pensions and benefits
* Highly motivated with a positive attitude.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Be highly analytic and have confidence in working with complex data.
* Prior experience in managing a team across a multi-site organisation would be desirable however not essential.
* Strong knowledge of current payroll legislation.
* Advanced knowledge of Excel.
* A professional payroll qualification (preferably CIPP).
* Experience of SAP/Pegasus would be desirable however not essential.
* Prior experience of Time and Attendance Systems, Rota Horizon, Mitrefinch would be desirable however not essential.
