Cost Accountant

This Cost Accountant opportunity is a fantastic role to work for senior level management teams to support accurate reporting from the cost systems, this role will be an extremely commercial accountancy role offering valuable insight to the business performance.

This business is a privately owned, highly successful and growing organisation with a strong market presence and long term contracts.

This Cost Accountant role will sit within a large head office based in Liverpool.

Description

This role will consist of the following duties;

*Full analysis of multiple income streams with in depth analysis of contracts and profit reporting's

*Product analysis, based on market trends

*WIP Accounting

*KPI analysis

*Stock reports

*Budget analysis

*Supporting month end management accounts

*Month meetings to report on variance to budget

*Work with high volumes of data using excel and interpret this for manager level reporting

Profile

This exciting cost accountant role will require the following skills as a minimum;

*Degree in 2.1 or 1st class Accounatcny and Finance or AAT

*Excellent excel skills, VLOOKUPs, Pivots, IF Analysis - advanced data manipulation ability

*Some month and year end experience, ideally within a FMCG, Manufacturing, engineering type environment

*Confident personality to influence decisions and implement ideas

*Happy to work within a fast pace environment and take on new challenging financial projects
