Orka Financial is currently working with an organisation based on the outskirts of Reading which is looking to hire a Project Accountant for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract to cover a maternity leave.
If successful, you will be responsible for up to 200 live projects from an accounting perspective and have the following duties:
- Ensuring all transactions are entered correctly and in line with the project budget
- Checking that expenditure and salary recharges are filed correctly
- Assessing project accruals and prepayments and where necessary posting journal entries
- Liaison with project managers to review projects
- Preparation of regular financial updates ensuring any variances are investigated fully
- Other adhoc analysis as and when required
A salary of £35,000 - £38,000 is on offer and our client have on site parking. You will be working a 35 hour week with flexible working hours and in order to be considered for this role you must have excel to an intermediate level and be available on no more than four week's notice.
