Page Personnel are currently recruiting an Assistant Accountant on behalf of a global, blue chip organisation based in Skelmersdale. This is a fantastic opportunity for an active CIMA or ACCA studier looking to progress their career further.

Client Details

A global, market leading business operating successfully across Europe, Asia and North America. The Skelmersdale office is home to the UK finance department and offers candidates plenty of scope to progress and develop through internal training and full CIMA or ACCA study support.

Description

The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Intercompany bank reconciliations
  • Maintenance of the fixed asset register
  • VAT returns
  • Intrastat reporting
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Month end journal postings

Profile

The Assistant Accountant must hold the following experience/background:

  • Actively studying towards CIMA or ACCA
  • Experience of VAT, intercompany banking and fixed assets
  • Good knowledge of Excel and accounting systems
  • Excellent customer service, communication and time management
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
