Our client are an established business based in the heart of Burgess Hill. Reporting to the Financial Controller this role will assist in producing periodic trial balance, profit and loss account and balance sheet. Our client are seeking a Qualified accountant to undertake this ongoing interim assignment.
Duties:
Key responsibilities:
- Strong reconciliations and experience of maintaining effective financial controls
- Experience of financial accounting
- Responsible for maintaining effective reconciliations including ownership of the balance sheet.
- Ensure any issues with the reconciliations systems is dealt with an escalated.
- Responsible for bank reconciliations
- Assist with the annual audit process.
- Assist with month end and year end duties.
- Maintain effective communication across all departments.
- Assist with the managing 4 staff.
