Our client is an amazing financial services provider who offers a great range of financial products and services including Funds Management, Forex Trading, Margin Trading, Lending Solutions and Insurance Broking.

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you are required to provide an exceptional level of personalised service to your client base and successfully identify your clients' individual needs and offer valuable finance solutions.

As a Business Development Manager, your duties include but not limited to:
  • Exceeding your personal revenue objectives and contributing to the business' overall sales expectations
  • Proactively targeting and acquiring new customers
  • Liaise with clients to discuss and assess their financial needs
  • Effective management of the customer experience, such that all clients become key advocates of the business
  • Tracking of business opportunities to sales activities and reporting directly to General Manager as to successes
  • Effectively plan, manage your time, and communicate/coordinate mutually agreed sales objectives within a collaborate work environment
  • Maintain compliance standards
Your Skills and Experience
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • RG 146 accreditation and/or experience in foreign exchange, payments, business development, sales, broker, finance, banking, insurance will be highly regarded
  • Exceptional planning and negotiation skills
  • Proven skills in building long-term and sustainable business relationships
  • Evidence-based capacity to deliver on (and exceed) sales, service and compliance objectives
  • High degree of personal and professional integrity
  • Professional presentation skills across all media, in addition to knowledge of and familiarity with technology, including MS Office, web conferencing, reporting tools and sales automation platforms (CRM) such as Salesforce
  • Be self-motivated and committed to delivering performance consistently ahead of expectations
  • Ability to speak and write in a Second Language, e.g. Asian language(s)/ Chinese speaking will be highly regarded.
