Based in Central Manchester, close to the trams, buses and trains,
this role will be working for a vibrant business where you will be

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the
timely delivery and accurate reporting of KPI metrics to the UK
business, providing regular pricing availability updates and
co-ordination of promotional activity from a pricing/discount
perspective. You will also be involved in competitor analysis & data
integrity within the current Business Information Systems.

This role requires close working relationships across all areas of the
business to ensure everyone is fully conversant with the current sales
trends, offers and pricing levels, and that any changes are
communicated effectively.
Duties to include;
* Maintenance and delivery of daily, weekly, monthly sales reporting,
with a view to developing analysis and commentary
* Maintain current KPIs
* Enhance automation and integrate Qlikview (Microsoft BI) outputs
into current reporting packages
* Support Commercial Manager in collation of supporting analysis in
brochure production periods, including sales trends, sales mixes,
prior year costs, analysis of competitive environment, currency
impacts etc.
* Update pricing availability grids
* Proof checking/reading of ALL marketing materials and brochures
* Set up of promotional codes
* Coordination of loading, tracking promotional use
* Communicate offers to the business
* Competitor analysis
* Set up of price loading files
* Set up of marketing pricing grids
* Price audits in system/on web/in API
* Extending/closing off offers and pricing in the system
* Reconciliation of intercompany invoicing
* Tracking of staff/fam/agent bookings and reconciliation of costs
Skills/Requirements
* Minimum 2 years analytical experience (essential), preferably in
the travel industry or similar commercially driven sector
* High attention to detail, thorough and meticulous
* Ability to manipulate large data sets in excel, into meaningful
information and proven experience of translating this to the
business
* Driven to work in a time sensitive, fast paced, changeable
environment
* Ability to work autonomously & prioritise own workload
* Comfortable communicating through all levels of the business
* Able to take a holistic commercial view of the business and its
needs
* High attention to detail, thorough and meticulous
* Ability to work in a time sensitive, fast paced, changeable
environment and prioritise own workload
