The job
This is a fantastic opportunity to pass on your skills at Further Education level and inspire the next generation. Working in a vibrant and positive learning environment, you will be responsible for leading and providing an accurate and reliable payroll and pensions service for College staff. The post holder will be the main College contact with the part managed payroll provider.
To manage the administration of all aspects of expense claims and to provide necessary information on all payroll matters including responsibility for pensions and sickness calculations.
Do you qualify?
To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:
• Significant relevant payroll experience comparable with the requirements of the post including size / complexity of payroll using at least two computerised payroll systems.
• Experience in interpreting statutory changes affecting payroll and successfully implementing them.
• An understanding and in-depth experience of HR processes and the range of adjustments that impact on the Payroll function in a diverse and complex organisation.
• Experience in dealing with pensions deductions and queries.
• High standard of IT skills and ability to produce accurate reports and analysis.
• Proven ability to work on own with minimum supervision and as part of a team.
• In depth knowledge of up-to-date payroll matters including statutory and pensions requirements
