Client Details
Fast paced manufacturing facility in Newport who have undergone recent substantial growth and are looking to expand their finance division.
Description
Reporting directly to the FD, the successful candidate will be required to:
- Prepare & execute daily payments
- Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities
- Manage operational relationship with banks & other financing parties
- Monitor & follow up on Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable position
- Monitor covenant compliance on external debt
- Liaise with managerial staff and other colleagues
- Develop and manage financial systems/policies
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- Treasury accounting experience for a major company. Chartered accountants and QBE accountants will be considered for this role.
- A thorough understanding of hedging, investments, bank account management, and international funds flows.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
- Excellent command on Microsoft Excel
- Sound business knowledge
- Accuracy and an eye for detail.
- Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables.
- Working experience on Infor LN would be beneficial.
- Use hedging to mitigate financial risks related to the interest rates on the companies borrowings, as well as on its foreign exchange positions.
Job Offer
The full time position offers a salary range of £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience. A defined pension contribution of 3% (employee) and 6% (employer) is offered by the employer, as well as a 3 x life insurance policy.
