A UK leading business are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their team based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

The client is a UK leading group who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their team based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Description

The key duties include:

Producing Management Accounts, KPIs and other management reporting for budget holders
Performing relevant reconciliations and safeguarding appropriate controls to ensure accurate reporting
Working with relevant teams across the business to ensure the Group asset accounting practices are in line with regulations
Supporting budget holders with preparation of budgets and forecasting, providing advice and guidance on how to best improve performance
Providing data for cash flow and future financial planning requirements
Assisting with the annual external audit and carrying out any recommendations appropriately
Supporting the performance of the Management Accounts teams to deliver quality service to stakeholders
Taking part in process improvement across all procedures

Profile

The successful candidate will:

Be fully qualified through either ACA, ACCA or CIMA
Have a substantial number of years within a Management Accountant role and be fully competent with the full end to end process of producing a set of Management Accounts
Have excellent communication skills in order to create positive relationships across the business
Have strong Microsoft Excel skills
Have exposure to the Oracle system or any other accounting packages
Be confident delivering presentations to senior management
Be highly organised and able to prioritise own workload
