Limited to Australian Sydney residence, we are seeking a higher level qualified “IT Customer Support Officer” with a broad knowledge and demonstrated experience in a wide range of small business technologies for Administrative and Helpdesk duties. No job should be too big or too small, for example you may be planning SQL DB upgrades for a team of 45, followed by helping a novice print a document. You will provide comprehensive support both on site and remotely.

You should already have experience administrating:
• Office 365 (inc PowerShell)
• GSuite (inc Drive, File Stream, and Team Drives)
• Windows Server 2003 R2 and onwards & SQL Server 2008 R2 and onwards
• Practice Management & Client Accounting such as APS, iFirm, CAS, Sol6/MYOB AE, ProSystem Engagement & XPA
• Web technologies inc cPanel, CloudFlare, WordPress, Magento and basic HTML
• Document Management inc M-Files & Sharepoint
• Familiarity with AWS
• Networking: NAT, Firewalls, Hardware, DNS, Proxying
• VoIP (Cisco and cloud PBX)
• User Desktop Support: Windows, Mac, IOS, Android
• Hardware troubleshooting and sales scoping for Desktops, Networks and Servers.

You will need to be an excellent communicator both in writing and orally. You will need to be able to translate complex systems, ideas and instructions into language that a variety of stakeholders value, from CEOs to receptionists.

You will be a self starter and good at self teaching, able to take initiative, effectively research, plan complex systems, present ideas confidently and comprehensively and cope with curve balls. You will have an eye for detail and a desire to complete jobs accurately and on time. You work with a view to provide the best long term experience for clients, aiming for systems that do not fail, and break-fixes that prevent reoccurrence.

You need excellent time management skills, the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines while managing continuous helpdesk interruptions. You will need to have flexible hours, some jobs will finish early, and some may run very very late.

Any candidate should have a car, as the position will include travel all over Sydney, meeting new faces, and you should have no qualms about being very assertive when dealing with uncooperative suppliers.

Candidates should have an interest in being a primary contact for customer relationships, and securing new customers and new business.
