Interim Finance Manager

A leading Media business require an interim Finance Manager for a 3 month temp role.

The Finance Manager will assist in the transition of central costs and group recharges to new management company. Additional responsibilities will include ongoing management of central costs and group recharge processes, financial records (including general ledger), financial statements, regulatory and management reports.

Responsibilities:
* Assisting the transfer of central costs and group recharges to new management company, including (but not limited to):

- Co-ordinating the set-up of relevant finance systems
- Assisting with the setup of bank accounts
- Monitoring the transfer of legal documentation
- Creation and documentation of processes and controls for the new company

* Central costs, including:
o Monitoring of POs and PO Database
o Approval of GL coding
* Recharges
o Ensuring all recharges approved at the appropriate level
o Calculation and allocation of recharges
o Co-ordinating the invoicing and settlement of recharges
* Reporting and compliance, including:
o Running flash and final revaluation and translation processes in PeopleSoft accounting
system
o Monthly P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting including explanations of cost and
recharge variances versus budget, reforecast and prior year
o Monthly reporting of central costs to department heads / budget owners
o Quarterly HFM reporting to ultimate parent company
o Manage annual budget and quarterly reforecast processes for central costs and recharges
o Balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany and digital assets
* Ensuring that procedures and controls are followed and maintained within finance and across the
organisation, including SOX requirements
* Managing all statutory and legal requirements: audit, tax, VAT and all regulatory filings or
information requests
