Job Description

Non–profit healthcare provider in Philadelphia has a full–time opening for a Finance Director. Reporting to and partnering with the Executive Director(ED), the Finance Director will set/establish the organizational financial policies and strategy. Additionally, he/she will engage with the leadership team members to facilitate cross–departmental collaboration that ensures that finance is providing solutions that positively support the organization's strategic plan and operational needs.

This could be an ideal opportunity for a mature experienced Assistant Director.

Key Duties Include:

?? Providing consultation to the ED and other affected internal stakeholders on all operational and strategic issues as they occur; this includes the provision of financial analysis and projections, cost identification and allocation, and revenue and expense analysis.

?? Provides financial reporting to ED and /or Board of Directors as well as recommendations for appropriate resources utilization, or other interventions.

?? Oversight for budgeting, and the implementation of budgets, so as to monitor progress and present operational metrics both internally and externally.

?? Supervise and provide oversight to the finance staff for maximum performance; ensures financial record systems and procedures are in in place in accordance with GAAP and monitor the use of all funds; supervises medical billing and payroll.

Qualifications and attributes:

?? A minimum of a BS in accounting, finance or related field with 10 years of accounting and supervisory experience is required.

?? CPA or MBA and extensive experience in a non–profit environment is preferred.

?? A hands–on manager with integrity and a desire to work in a dynamic mission driven organization.

?? Mature and proactive, with evidence of having worked as a true business partner to the ED and the Board.

?? A collaborative and flexible style, with a strong service mentality; a true team player.

?? A strong commitment to developing staff and team members.
