Becoming a Resource Planning Analyst with Employee Solutions:

We are currently recruiting for a Resource Planning Analyst to join our organisation on a full time permanent basis. Based within our bright modern offices at Lingfield Point, Darlington you will work closely with our Teachers Pensions Contact Centre initially focusing on helping to improve real time management and the driving of performance and KPI achievement.

You will be responsible for a mix of front and back office planning. You will produce accurate supply and demand forecasts and complete detailed forecast variance analysis to support the Operations area in making optimum use of resources in order to achieve internal and contractual agreed service levels and meet business plans.

What you will do:

  • Produce short, medium and long-term plans for back office Operations focusing on both supply and demand drivers. Analyse all supply and demand components using appropriate techniques and tools, providing insightful commentary and making and tracking recommendations.

  • Able to produce forecasts and schedules for front office functions at daily, weekly and interval level.

  • Acting as a subject matter expert you will be responsible for driving real time performance of the front office team in close co-operation with the Operational management team.

  • Undertake 'planned vs actual' analysis and carry out detailed root cause analysis to provide challenge and improve planning accuracy.

  • Lead and contribute to formal interactions within our best practice Operational Management Framework (OMF) including Mission Control Meetings, Planning/Loading/Variance meetings and Monthly Operating Committee meetings.

  • Ensure planning processes adhere to the OMF and share best practice across the planning community

Your experience will include:

  • Previous experience in a resource planning role is essential
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills and highly numerate
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to disseminate large amounts of information, shape into detailed plans and reports and present conclusions
