Tate are working with a fantastic Charitable organisation who have been saving lives for over 25 years and are really making a difference to the world.
If you'd like to join the team we're looking to find the perfect Financial Team manager, where you will be leading a team of 5.
Some of the benefits are below:
£40,000 - £45,000 Per Annum
Monday to Friday 9.00am - 17.00pm
22 days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Time off over Eid
Free Car Parking
Pension Scheme
1 year FTC followed by a Permanent contract
Duties include but not limited to:
· Ensure efficient and timely month-end closing of financials each month.
· Ensure monthly budget versus actual review meetings with each budget holder and supporting budget holders in the preparation and monitoring of their budgets and income projections.
· Ensure the assurance, oversight and management of the financial systems are in place.
· Ensure monthly reconciliations of income and expenditure, balance sheet accounts are regularly reviewed and assessed.
· Producing the statutory accounts are prepared in accordance with SORP and to best practice and audit files are maintained to the highest standards.
· Producing financial reports on events, expenditure analysis, and analysis of management accounts are prepared for all stakeholders.
· Ensure oversight and management of Gift Aid and VAT meeting HMRC requirements and monthly claims.
Experience required:
· Qualified Professional Accountant in a Finance discipline with an Accounting Qualification (AAT; ACCA; CIMA) or Qualified by Experience
· Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant role in a charitable organisation
· MS Office Suite; Accounts Systems (NAV, ERP systems); Charity SORP Accounting, SAGE 50
