Household Insurance Administration Manager
You must have previous Insurance experience in Personal Lines preferably Home Insurance within a broker environment with a good working knowledge of Open GI.
Duties will include: Organise and manage a small team of Customer Services / Insurance administrators to carry out day to day office functions including aanswering telephones - providing an excellent service to all clients/customers. Dealing with telephone calls and correspondence from insurance companies and clients -
Job Description
q To work within the customer service department, managing a small team of advisors, responding to customer needs and requirements in an appropriate manner.
q To ensure all calls and enquiries are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
q To support the firm’s goals through excellent customer service skills and provide customers with an efficient service.
q To maintain & administer daily reports and functions in accordance with office procedures.
q To problem solve and mediate
q To provide mentoring and training where required and maintain staff development files
SKILLS REQUIRED
q Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.
q Effective communication & organisational skills.
q Ability to gather and analyse information from the customer.
q Ability to organise staff and manage effective teams to ensure all functions up to date
q Ability to identify and respond appropriately to an individual customer’s level of understanding.
q Ability to take over more complex calls from staff - problem solve and mediate.
q Ability to work under pressure when required to ensure all daily duties are carried out.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
q Educated to GCSE standard including Maths and English.
q Good keyboard, customer service & written skills.
q Experience of providing knowledgeable advice to support customer requirements.
q Thorough understanding of household systems (open gi ) products & processes.
q Proven experience in managing effective teams.
q Good working knowledge of open gi system and accounting functions
