Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time qualified Accountant with previous experience.
Key Duties:
* Analysis and monitoring of a variety of budgets and financial forecasts
* Providing a management accounting support service to the team and overall function
* Working closely with the Finance Business Partner to provide accounting services and stakeholder management support
* Assist in the development of financial systems
* Critically analysing and scrutinising reporting function and techniques
* Analyse and identify weaknesses and areas for improvement - lending to overall improvement of finance function and reporting techniques
* Act as a point-of-contact for the department for accounting services
* Monthly Management Accounts
The successful candidate will be:
* Ideally part-qualified or qualified ACCA / CIMA
* Strong Excel skills - This is essential and will be tested against an average
* Personable and approachable personality accompanied by strong English and Maths skills - this is key for stakeholder management and building relationships.
* Enthusiastic with a drive to understand the analytical and commercial side of Management Accounts
Salary is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
