About The Role: An excellent and rare opportunity has arisen with a professional organisation based in Wellingborough for a Payroll Officer to join their team on a part-time basis for approximately 6-months. The successful candidate will be running weekly wages and monthly salaries for payroll clients and dealing with all aspects of the payroll function including SMP, SSP, holiday pay etc. In addition to this, you will take ownership for the conduct of clients’ payroll and auto-enrolment compliance. You will be assisting in the provision of other professional services in connection with designated clients.

Requirements: The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the payroll process with the ability to work to immovable deadlines. You will be working in a mutually supportive environment and the ability to work as part of a wider team is essential. You should be able to communicate professionally and in an accommodating manner with external clients as well as internally with colleagues. Experience of an outsourced payroll function would be advantageous.
