Senior Management Accountant

Senior Management Accountant required for a creative media firm based in Central London. This role will support the Finance Manager in the completion of management accounts as well as variance analysis, monthly board presentation and business partnering.

This role would suit a Big 4 newly qualified accountant seeking their first role from Practice.

Key skills:

• Newly qualified/qualified ACA or ACCA
• AX dynamics highly desirable
• Proven ability to manage a busy workload and work to deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate a collaborative approach
• Great interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships
• Ability to effectively business partner

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain business partnering relationships including undertaking regular meetings to report on performance
• Working closely with the FP&A team regarding the forecasting process
• Franchise accruals, commentary over variances against budget and prior year
• Completion of the month end reporting
• Variance analysis
• Responsible for understanding CAPEX projects, showing understanding of the progress, risks and impact on the business
• Journal entry preparation
• CAPEX and cash flow forecasting
• Assisting with annual budgets and forecasts
• Supporting the annual audit process, including managing audit documentation and schedules
• Ad hoc projects
