Our client a Highly Successful, International business based in Woking, Surrey are currently recruiting for a GL Accountant to join the team.

Description

The position will have a key role in providing accurate financial reporting and accounting support to the Group Financial Controller. Key responsibilities include month end accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.

Ownership of monthly reporting for some of the international companies, ownership of certain month end processes and balances sheet reconciliations, posting journals and other ad hoc project work as assigned by the Group Financial Controller.

Month end reporting

*Fixed asset reconciliations

*Non client accruals

*Non client prepayments

*Vehicle reconciliations

*Intercompany reconciliations

*Other balance sheet reconciliations

*Posting journals

*Accounting for some of the international entities

Day to day

*Balance sheet account maintenance

*Accounting for the holding companies

*Reviewing the central cost centres overheads

*National statistics reporting

*Finance projects as directed by the Group Financial Controller

*Continual process improvement

Profile

*AAT Qualified ideally but it's not essential, ACCA or CIMA studier or Qualified by experience

*GL accounting experience

*Balance sheet reconciliation experience

*Strong Excel skills

*Problem-solving skills

*Strong verbal and written communication skills

Job Offer

Salary, ideally £24,000 - £28,000 possibly stretch to £30,000 but this can't be guaranteed. 25 days holiday, Pension, Study Support if needed, Parking
