The role of Regional Management Accountant based in Thatcham is to support South West Finance team with its completion of its duties whilst complying with the Group policies. To provide timely and accurate financial information to the South West as well as supporting the Finance Service Centre with it's processing of transactions

Description

Regional Management Accountant Responsibilities;

  • To provide support to the South West Regional Controller and Regional Finance Team in the completion of their duties to both internal management and to external bodies
  • To produce a weekly EBITDA forecast for the month
  • To calculate and submit weekly sales statistics
  • To track plant costs during the month and explain deviations to Budget
  • Assist the Financial Controller with the month end accounts and reporting requirement
  • To calculate and analyse key ratios and provide gap analyses against budget and previous periods for a given month and year to date
  • To assist the Financial Controller with the collation of budgets. This will include headcount and raw material reporting
  • To assist the Finance Controller with the collation of Balance Scorecard
  • Work with all departments within the South West Region to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • To assist the Financial Controller with the Internal and External financial audits
  • To assist the Financial Controller with all year and monthly reporting requirements
  • To assist in all adhoc reporting requirements for both internal and external parties
  • Provide day to day finance support for the plant
  • Liaise with the FSSC (Finance Shared Service Centre) on a day to day basis as to fulfil reporting requirements and respond to any questions posed
  • Adhoc finance related tasks as requested by the Finance team and plant management
