Working within a well-established and supportive team, the Statutory Accountant sill be responsible for the compliance of a number of trading, holding and dormant entities. The Statutory Accountant will also act as the main contact for external auditors and be responsible for the preparation of statutory accounts.

Description
This role would suit a disciplined individual looking for a challenge in a fast-moving environment. The Statutory Accountant will co-ordinate the audit process for a portfolio of group companies, act as the key liaison for external auditors and prepare statutory accounts.
Profile
A background within practice is essential in order to provide the required level of support to the business. In addition, there will be some month-end functions, support for US GAAP accounting, tax support, national statistics returns and assistance with compliance for the companies that fall within the responsibilities of the role. Strong technical accounting knowledge and an understanding of financial statements is essential (FRS 102 / IFRS knowledge would be advantageous), as well as excellent accuracy and a keen eye for detail. The role will suit someone with effective time-management skill and team player with a proactive attitude.
Job Offer
£50,000 - £60,000 and benefits commensurate with a forward-thinking company.
